UPSC CSE Prelims Answer Key 2016
UPSC CSE Prelims Answer Keys of the examination which was conducted on May 2016 is mentioned here. The exam consisted of 2 nos. of compulsory objective type papers of each 200 marks of Aptitude and General Studies. The paper was of 2 hours each. UPSC CSAT 2016 question paper was set in both English & Hindi, but the questions related to English language was only in English. In the English section, comprehension skills of 10th standard were tested in the exam.
In the paper no. 1, questions asked were based on –
• Nation and worldwide current issues
• Indian history, including Indian National Movement
• Geography of India and world including Social, Economical and Physical
• Indian Governance & Polity – Indian Constitution, Indian Political System, Indian Panchayati Raj, Indian Public Policies, Rights, Issues etc
• Indian Economics, Social & Sustainable Development, Initiatives, Inclusion, Demographics etc.
• Issues on Climate Change and General Science.
In the paper no. 2, questions asked were based on –
• Reading Comprehension
• Communication & interpersonal skills
• Analytical Skills, Reasoning (logical) skills
• Situation based decision making and problem solving skills
• General intellectual aptitude Class 10th Level basic mathematics including number system etc, Data Interpretations including chart, graphs etc.
