UGC NET December 2016-2016 Application form and official notification has been released for the academic year 2016-2016 under the advertisement number - 10-2(5)/2016(ii) - E.U.II. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is responsible for organizing the Joint CSIR-UGC test for the eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship for Science and Technical faculty.
Important Dates for UGC-NET December 2016:
v Submission of the online applications and offline fee depositing through challan form will start from 30-07-2016 to 22-08-2016.
v Last date for depositing the application fee from all stations is 21-08-2016.
v Last date for receipt the hard copy of application form in the Examination Unit is 27-08-2016.
v Date of single MCQ Examination is set to be on 22-12-2016.
v Admit cards for the registered candidates are expected to be available for downloading from second week of December, 2016.
Essential Qualification:
Candidates having completed their Graduation in 10+2+3 pattern are eligible to apply and the candidates enrolled for M.Sc. are also eligible. Candidates having degree in Engineering are also eligible to apply who have secured minimum of 55% in the relevant examination while for the reserved category candidates, it is of 50%.
Examination Fee:
The application fee for the General category candidates is Rs. 400/- only. The candidates belonging to OBC category have to submit a sum of Rs. 200/- as their application fee. For the candidates of SC, ST, PH and VH category need to deposit Rs. 100 only as their application fee. This fee can be submitted in any of the branch of Indian Bank in cash.
How to Apply:
Candidates can submit their application form through the official website of UGC-NET. After submitting the online application form, candidates should download the application form and challan form. With this challan form, candidates can submit their application fee in Indian Bank. The application form and copy of required documents along with the fee receipt of Bank should be put into an envelope, super-scribe with the subject, medium and center code to the following address – Sr. Controller of Examination, Human Resource Development Group, examination unit, CSIR complex, library avenue, PUSA, New Delhi-110012.
