NMMS Scholarship Application Form Kerala 2016

State Govt. released a Notification for the National Means –Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme to elaborate and encourage the bright student in the State. This scheme is executed for the more learning and some beneficial reason of the students. In this scheme the Govt. invited the candidates for registration and take the benefit of NMMS for the year 2016-14. The candidates who are deserve to more study but they are not able to get access by their Economical Conditions, they can take the advantage of this scheme. Eligibility Criteria: National Means –Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) prescribed the criteria for candidates who want to apply for this scheme. 

The candidates are allow to apply whose father’s annual income is less than Rs. 150000/-. This scheme provides the benefit of scholarship on quarterly basis such as Rs. 6000/- per year in extract form Rs. 500/- per Month every year for 4 years. For more details about the terms to take the advantage of this scheme candidates have to visit the official notification of this scheme. Procedure for Selection: The selection procedure will be done on the basis of two major Tests. These are 

1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) 
2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Mental Ability Test (MAT): This Test consist of 90 multiple-choice questions testing verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning. The questions in the test may be on analogy, classification, pattern perception, numerical series, hidden figures etc. 
3) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): Scholastic Aptitude Test consist of 90 multiple-choice questions covering subjects namely, science, social studies and mathematics as faced in classes VII and VIII. Time 

Duration for Test: The Authority prescribed the time duration for both Test is 90 Minutes only. 

Result Declaration: The result will be declared after the commencement of both Tests. The candidate is selected who aggregated the 40% Marks in both Tests. For reserved categories candidates the minimum percentage will be 32%.
